Teritoriul
orașului este străbătut de cursul
râului Bega,care își are izvoarele în Munții Poiana Ruscăi,la
altitudinea de 1150 m și are la frontieră o lungime de 159 km
și o suprafață de 2390 km2.La postul
hidrografic Făget prezintă
următoarele elemente morfometrice :
-distanța
de la izvor 42,6 km;
-altitudinea
punctului hidrometric 147 m;
-suprafața bazinului de recepție în
amont 473 km2;
-altitudinea
medie a bazinului în amont 464 m;
-panta
medie a bazinului în amont 199 m/km.
Debitul
mediu al râului la Făget este de
4,36 m3/s,iar scurgerea medie specifică este de 9,2
l/s/km2.
Viiturile
cu debite maxime s-au înregistrat în anii
1938,1939,1942,1955,1956,1970,1972,1975,1986.
Pe
teritoriul orașului Bega primește
ca afluenți pe stânga pârâul Șopot și Vădana care are o
suprafață a bazinului hidrografic de 34 km2
și o lungime de 16 km.Apele
freatice au nivele ridicate de 0,70-2,20 m adâncime,iar
stratele captive Ascensionale și arteziene se află la adâncimi
de 147-151 km. |
The territory of
the town is crossed by the stream of Bega river, which springs
in Poiana Rusca Mountains, at a height of 1150 meters, and at
the border it has a length of 159 km and an area of 2390 kmČ.
At the hydrographic station, Faget has the following
morphometric elements:
- distance from the spring :42,6 km;
- height of the hydrometric point
:147m;
- surface of reception basin upstream :473 kmČ
;
- average slope of the basin upstream
:199/km.
The specific average flow has different values,
the highest being in spring and the beginning of summer, and
the lowest in autumn and winter. The average flow of the river
in Faget is of 4,36 mł /s, and the specific average flow is of
9,21/9/kmČ.High floods with maximum flow have been registered
in 1938, 1939,1942, 1955, 1956, 1970, 1975, 1986.On the
territory of Bega river, it receives at left Sopot and Vadana
brook which have an area of the hydrographical basin of 34 kmČ
and a length of 16 km. The phreatic waters have high levels of
0,70- 2,20 meters in dept, and the captive ascensional and
artesian strata can be found depths of 147-151 km.
